How to unlock decision maker profiles, available roles, credit costs, and how to include decision makers in exports and automations.
StoreCensus identifies key personnel at each store - founders, C-suite executives, and department heads. Decision maker profiles are locked and require credits to unlock.
Unlocking Decision Makers
- Cost: 2 credits per decision maker unlock.
- How to unlock: Click Unlock Decision Makers in the store detail panel.
- What you get: Name, role/title, and contact information for each identified decision maker.
- Persistence: Once unlocked, visible to you and your team without additional credits.
Bulk Unlock Decision Makers
Select multiple stores in the dashboard grid (use the checkboxes), then click Unlock Decision Makers in the bulk action toolbar that appears at the top of the grid.
What the modal lets you configure
- Roles to unlock: All 12 roles are pre-selected. Deselect any roles you don't need to save credits.
- Max per store: Choose how many decision makers to unlock per store (default: 1). Set to "All" to unlock every matching role found.
- Include fallback contacts: When enabled, if no exact role match is found, StoreCensus will include the best available contact for that store.
- Add to list: Stores that successfully yield at least one unlocked decision maker are automatically added to a list you choose or create. A default list name is pre-filled with the current date and time (e.g., "Decision Makers - May 28, 2026 12:00 PM").
- Include already-unlocked stores: Toggle to also add stores you've previously unlocked to the selected list.
Estimate before committing
Before clicking Unlock, the modal shows:
- Estimated decision makers to be unlocked
- Stores with matches (how many of your selected stores have at least one matching role)
- Already unlocked stores count
Credit charge
You are only charged for decision makers that are successfully unlocked. If a store has no matching contacts for your selected roles, no credits are deducted for that store.
Available Roles
Decision makers are identified across these 12 roles:

Exporting Decision Makers
In the Export Modal, when the Decision Makers column is selected:
- Only decision makers you have already unlocked are included.
- Each decision maker appears as a separate row in the export.
Decision Maker Auto-Unlock in Automations
When setting up an Evergreen Flow with Instantly, Smartlead, or Apollo as the action, you can enable Decision Maker Auto-Unlock:
- Toggle ON to automatically unlock decision makers for each triggered store.
- Select which roles to unlock (up to all 12 roles).
- Cost: 2 credits per decision maker unlocked automatically.
- The unlocked data is included in the payload sent to the integration.
This is the most powerful way to build a fully enriched outreach pipeline - every store that triggers your automation arrives in your campaign with decision maker contact info already attached.
