What This Means
Co-install data reveals how merchants build their technology stacks. When two apps consistently appear together across thousands of stores, it indicates they serve complementary functions that merchants find valuable in combination — not just individually.
High overlap percentages (50%+) suggest near-universal pairing: merchants who use one app almost always use the other. This can indicate deep functional integration, shared target audiences, or strong community recommendations. Lower overlap rates (10–25%) suggest occasional pairing that may be category-specific or revenue-tier dependent.
These patterns are useful for app developers identifying integration opportunities, agencies building recommended tech stacks, and merchants evaluating whether their current app configuration aligns with industry norms.
