I have tested all the Shopify chat bots and VanChat has stood up to the challenge. From the moment I clicked activate on site it had an understanding of my products. Also, I am even a cannabis/hemp site and the bot helped guide actual product knowledge beyond what the products themselves said. It is extremely useful even for search since it does understand color and details of the products. Also, the chat support has been responsive and helpful. I recommend this tool to all users looking for a reliable chatbot that understands the products on the site, site content and policies that doesn't show any hallucinations. I've tested it with all different ways to mess it up and at worst it tells me to reach out to customer support, but doesn't try to give information when it doesn't have the answer or the customer asks irrelevant questions. Give it a try, you've got a free trial that is enough time period to truly test it out. My site is just about to go fully live and think the proactive sales component will be very helpful, but just the cost of this alone compared to a real support agent is a win.
