Support can't tell me why the total sales in one county do not equal the sum of sales in three cities located within that county. I'm just getting cut and paste replies that suggest I should inquire with my state's DOR. My return is being flatly rejected because of their faulty calculations. How could the state have an answer for Taxjar's unacceptable numbers? They've basically shrugged their shoulders literally telling me that Taxjar uses 'lots of tax logic'. Show more
Consider this review a serious caution. I wish it were possible to rate this app with zero stars. The support team is virtually non-existent, and on the rare occasion you do receive a response, it's clear they lack any real understanding of their own service. We're currently paying $349 monthly for the Pro plan, which is set to increase to $499 next month. Additionally, they fail to offer SST service as they aren't a certified service provider, which is concerning given the seriousness of sales tax compliance and the risks associated with non-compliance. I strongly advise avoiding this service. Show more
Pretty bad. A migration issue resulted in an overpayment of my taxes by thousands in one state and they are now not responding to my emails. Show more
I would rate no stars if I could!! We reached out MONTHS ago and multiples times since for help in canceling our subscription. Uninstalled the app and everything. The company still kept taking funds from our account for this subscription and they were no help at all. I definitely do NOT recommend. If you need taxes done, please go to a local CPA. Do not use Tax Jar. Show more
