Reactiv ‑ Mobile App Builder

Our previous app provider went dark overnight. 200,000 daily users left with nothing, and we needed emergency support in the middle of the night. Reactiv stepped in within hours and kept us live in the App Store, then rebuilt the whole thing properly. The new app fixed the things that actually mattered to our customers. I’m not in the app business and don’t want to be, Reactiv lets me ship a custom experience without hiring a team of devs to babysit it. Eighteen months in, an independent audit found it’s our stickiest channel with higher LTV than our online store.

We built our app to strengthen our connection with the community, not just chase a quick conversion bump. The real test was whether it would continue to deliver value long after the launch excitement faded. We're happy to say the results have shown exactly that! Almost two years in, the app is a steady chunk of our revenue every month, our app shoppers consistently build bigger baskets than on web, and push notifications have become a real way to talk to our people (not just sell to them). Reactiv also made onboarding genuinely easy, no custom build and no dev team to maintain, and it connected to the tools we already run (subscriptions, reviews, Klaviyo). If you want a community-first app that’s still pulling its weight a year later, this is it. Not to mention, everyone on the Reactiv team is so lovely to work with and genuinely wants us to succeed.

We worked with the team at Lazer to build a custom app on top of Reactiv’s framework. We wanted a custom, gamified loyalty experience, where we’d host live trivia in the app, and winners get awarded points that can be used to shop. Before Reactiv, this wouldn’t have been possible without building a fully custom app (which would have cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars). Aside from the cost, we didn’t want to fully manage a custom app. Working with Reactiv and Lazer has been incredible.
