There are already more than 85 negative reviews on the Orderly Emails App dashboard, and I’m confident many more users have been affected but haven’t had the time or means to leave feedback—particularly now that there appears to be no clear way to contact the developers. What’s most concerning is the complete lack of guidance from the app developers and Shopify during the incident. Many of us watched, in real time, as collections were hidden or deleted within minutes—collections that took years to build and significant financial investment in contractors and web specialists. The damage has been substantial. Could you please advise how we can get in direct contact with Orderly Emails? Additionally, we request Shopify’s assistance in verifying that there are no remaining traces of the Orderly Emails App code in our store backend. We are particularly concerned as we received an email from Orderly Emails after uninstalling the app, which included a link that redirected directly to our Shopify admin. This raises serious questions about whether the app still has any level of access, which is also absurd that they had the capability to access all our data. We would appreciate your urgent assistance in: - Confirming that Orderly Emails no longer has access to our store; - Ensuring all related code or integrations have been fully removed; - Advising on any further steps we should take to secure our store apart of 'making a copy' now that the damage has been done already. Stay away from this app and this company at all costs. They "accidentally" deleted dozens of collections from our Shopify store which in turn broke many pieces of our website. Whats worse is they couldn't care on helping you try and recover your data. Monumental mess up. Shocking.

I had an extremely frustrating and damaging experience with the Ordely Email app for Shopify. After installing and using the app, it unexpectedly deleted all the categories from my store. This wasn’t a minor inconvenience, it completely disrupted my site structure, affected navigation, and created a terrible experience for my customers. Rebuilding everything took hours of work and unnecessary stress. I strongly advise anyone considering this app to think twice. No tool should have the ability to cause this level of damage without proper protections in place.

After 12 years on Shopify without a single issue, having the Orderly Emails app wipe out my collections is a serious breach of trust - completely unacceptable. An app that can make changes at this level should absolutely have a built‑in backup or rollback option in case something goes wrong. On top of that, losing the SEO content in my descriptions is another blow. Thanks for that. I’ve uninstalled this app for good.

The app deleted collections and products from my store. Absolutely unreal. Company is providing an explanation how it happens and feels really sorry for themselves but not providing any help.
