CustomerGenius: Discount Abuse

CustomerGenius helped us uncover a fraud issue we didn’t even know we had: customers creating multiple accounts with different emails to reuse first-time purchase discount codes. Thanks to the app, we identified several real cases — including one person with more than 25 orders under different identities. In the most recent case, we were able to spot the pattern the same day it happened, before the order was even shipped. It’s easy to install and set up, and it has helped us recover money we otherwise would have never known we were losing. I’d definitely recommend it to any store using welcome, affiliate, or referral discounts. Also, Phillip, the owner, was very helpful and stayed on top of everything throughout the installation and our first few uses. Great support from day one!

We've been using this app for a few months now and are really happy with it. The customer service team is quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Since integrating the app, we've been able to identify and prevent a few cases where discount codes were being misused by customers creating multiple accounts with different names or emails. One feature we particularly appreciate is the flexibility, you can automate the refund decision process or handle each case individually.
