birmingham's soccer club fc birmingham is a professionally operated soccer club that strives to showcase the best talent in the area. contact us about us fc birmingham was founded in 2020 as an organization to give an opportunity to showcase the elite talent in the birmingham metro on a national stage and give the players an opportunity to be developed into professional athletes and live their dreams. fc birmingham youth academy was founded as birmingham city fc academy in 2018 and rebranded as fcb academy in 2021 with the mission to develop young talent to have an opportunity to live out their dreams. club news our teams fcb provides opportunities to players of all ages men our most senior team (aka 1st team) is trained by carlos mercado and is designated for exceptional players. women our senior women's team (aka women's 1st team) is designated for exceptional women's players during the summer months. youth our youth academy is for players between the ages of 4 & 19. we focus on 360° player development to prepare them higher-level soccer such as (ncaa, mls, nisa, upsl, uws, etc...)
