Recharge Subscriptions App

There is a lot of room for improvement. It gets the job done but how much they charge in fees should be much better. Surprisingly this is the top app in this category. As they have grown over the years, their support has not kept up with quality. Lot of back and forth before the issue is looked at or taken seriously. More apps are being developed in this category and hopefully, a more competitive selection will be offered. Show more

Zach and Bryan and the rest of the team that helped us migrate over, have been great to work with! It only took me a few weeks to migrate over! You just need to stay on top of both your old app and new app and make sure your .csv is staying up-to-date on two platforms side-by-side. Tedious? Yes! Especially if you don't know what you are doing. However, they explain everything and response time is FAST! Once we migrated over, small little issues arose but those were handled just as fast! After migration, I realized that my current Shopify theme wasn't looking too great and needed help switching themes. Well, once again, contacted Recharge and BOOM! - Bryan and his team helped me with integrating our new theme and adding the necessary widgets/links. Having the Recharge subscription app is like having a Mercedes Benz with their Top of the Line Service providers - making sure all the bells and whistles are working at Top Performance. Keep in mind we are a small company too! Recharge could have easily put us on the back burner knowing we aren't going to be making them much money anytime soon. (I know other apps that do this!) This app is not user-friendly at all. You have to click a lot of buttons to get what you want. And I agree that many of their customer service don't understand their product at all. They simply provide links and ask you to read their instruciton. Show more

I regret the day I installed this app. It has been nothing but a pain in my, and my customers arse since the day it began. Customer support take ages to respond, and usually I have to quick fix a problem because I can't live with my business running on half performance, then customer service don't understand why I am having issues. Now the issues are once a week and I have filled out the contact form more times than I can count. Strongly suggest you go elsewhere. Not worth losing the amount of customers I have lost because of these lot. Update: a year later I am still standing by my review. I have just been informed by Recharge that I have been charged for a change in plan which i didn't authorise or choose. I have been told that I can revert to the standard plan but wont get a refund. I get 5-7 word responses from a different person in their 'customer care' team every 24 hours. There is no phone number, there is no result. A bunch of crooks! And once again, I am disappointed in myself for letting them have my business for so long. Show more

Excellent, fast customer service. Some data redundancies that can make entry a chore, but overall does exactly what we need. Show more
