After a webinar by the BOLD co-founder, we were excited to give this a try to create value to our long term subscription customers as he suggested as one of the many features this app can do. Only to find out that it really doesn't work the way he stated in the webinar with the app. BOLD is a great subscription model but that's kind of where it ends as everything else is piece meal adds that are not intuitive and needs further development.
Bold has been extremely useful in creating sales for our business, making it super easy to put your entire store on sale. I wanted to exclude one product and hopped on their AI chat to find out how and when the AI chat couldn't quite help me a real human, Irfan, stepped in and gave me a workaround to complete exactly what I needed. I'm done with this app. We've been using it for several years now, but this is the end. During our Black Friday sale we set up tiered discounts. Some variants of products were discounted 20%, some were 25%. Unfortunately, this app incorrectly discounted all of our variants 25%. It has worked fine for quite some time until we reached out to support and they told us we had two versions installed on our store. While the extra 5% may not seem like much, it is 10% more than we would typically discount our products due to our margins. We will stick with Shopify's automatic discounts going forward, especially since they finally allow you to choose if coupon stacking is an option or not. Show more
