Tolstoy AI: Shoppable UGC

Tolstoy used to be a really simple, easy-to-use tool, which is exactly why I liked it. Since the platform shifted heavily toward AI-generated layouts and conversational interfaces, it’s become much harder to get a clean, polished widget that matches my website. Basic styling and layout changes now take more time than they used to, and the AI often seems to get in the way rather than help. It’s definitely become more powerful, but for anyone who just wants simple shoppable video widgets with straightforward design control, the experience has gotten noticeably worse.

Tolstoy is a great app, and the support is even better! Mikaela, in particular, was incredibly efficient, proactive, and responsive in helping our team with all of our queries. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved quickly. Highly recommend!
