This is an edit of a previous review I left a few days back. I was unhappy about some aspects of the platform, and felt the lack of certain functionality was stopping me from gaining traction with my program. Instantly Smile's head of technical support contacted me to address these issues and present solutions to all the concerns. After careful scrutiny, I chose Smile.io for our rewards program. The new interface has improved tremendously and I receive very few questions from my customers about how to earn and redeem rewards. I have seen the direct benefits of retention. And the basic version is FREE???!!! It's a no-brainer. The main point of this review is to recognize Elli from the support team for helping me through a bind - I had updated to a new theme with a bug of ridiculous code that blocked all apps from working. 3 other app developers couldn't figure it out and Elli pinpointed the issue and helped me fix it. Now everything works perfectly - those other apps should buy Elli a coffee :) Thank you THANK YOU! My one request for future app functionality would be to find a way to prevent referral fraud - almost everyone who has used our $10 referral incentive has used it on the same household or a secondary email address.
