SmartrMail Email & SMS

I've used this software for 3+ years (not sure why it says I've used it for 7 days, that's not accurate at all): Before this I used mailchimp for a few years, Privy, and then the shopify email service and they simply didn't do the things I wanted. First let me say that I HATE writing emails. So I search for a software that makes it easy for me and makes my emails look professional. Smartrmail has amazing features and is very easy to use and writing an email is very fast. I have created my own main template so all I have to do is write something and hit send. One of my favorite features is smart segments where you can create a list that automatically updates when someone buys a certain product or opens a certain email. this allows me to target my emails by interest instead of spamming everyone. So if i'm promoting product A i can exclude anyone who already bought it. My favorite thing about Smartrmail is their support. I've submitted many questions and suggestions over the years and they always respond as well as are always implementing new features. Their support team really wants their customers to be happy and I am mindblown because they reached out to me after reading my review and my struggle with no sales because i was in the middle of a pivot and changing my whole business. I booked a free call and they helped me figure out a new email strategy for my shop. They also showed me features I didn't even know they had!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Do not hesitate and try this app!!! Here is why I chose Smartrmail: Shopify does not have advanced segmenting or A/B testing. but it's free. Mailchimp does not sync with my orders / customers and is expensive (twice the cost of this app) Privy doesn't have A/B testing for subject lines and does not automatically sync with your customers, tags or orders. They told me I had to manually import many csv files with EACH TAG. And that I had to use their embedded forms in order for new tags to import. Smartrmail does it all, I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found it. Their advanced segmenting is MINDBLOWING. you can email people based on WHICH PRODUCT THEY BOUGHT or DIDN'T BUY!!! They have subject line A/B testing to increase open rates. It syncs automatically with your existing email list, customers and orders, no need to import anything. -It's half the cost of Mailchimp. Even though it's not free like Shopify, I really want the extra features! I already setup a nice welcome email every time someone subscribes to my list. -their abandoned cart email is beautiful and includes a nice discount code (unlike Shopify's bland email which you cannot customize) -I can see how much $ i generated after sending an email -I love the boost feature for newsletters, which resends the email to the recipients who did not open your last email. this is a lot easier than in other apps! I've always hated and dreaded writing emails but this is the first time i can honestly say, i look forward to writing emails to my subscribers! -customer support has been amazing as well as one of my emails had a bug and didn't send out, they fixed it right away. -Although the A/B testing option is only on the higher-end plan which I do not have, I may upgrade to that option in the near future. Overall it's just a really SIMPLE and very advanced email marketing app and after 4 years I am finally happy to say goodbye to Mailchimp! Show more

I've recently started using SmartrMail. So far I've found the app very user friendly. Although I haven't completed set up on it yet - it's a nice feature to turn on automatic abandoned cart follow up emails. Show more

This app is definitely a go to for us when sending out marketing emails and sms messages to our customers on virtually anything to do with our business. It's very functional and easy to easy which also makes it enjoyable. We are especially fans of the Smart Segments functionality. Show more
