The value add of this app is insanely high! We just launched our site this year and are slowly learning what all we need to do, and email marketing was at the top of our list. Seguno makes it SO easy. You do NOT need to code for this (thank goodness). Everything is very clear and obvious. I love their templates as well. We did purchase one for Cyber Monday and it worked really well. The premium features are well worth it if you can swing it. We did the trial of Premiu7m and were really happy with it but are able to get by on the free version well enough. Once we get to a point where the premium makes sense for us we'll be happy to upgrade. Great App, especially with the newly added templates and video embedding features. I have tried a few different email marketing systems and this one by far is one of the easiest and most personable apps offered in the Shopify marketplace. It's a good alternative to Mailchimp since it's readily available in the interface. For beginners it's a great tool, but has some limitations for those that are used to a more robust tool. It's superb for setting up a quick email, integrating products, and looking professional on a smaller budget. However, things such as name tags (inability to include), true reporting (inability to view click reporting, open rates, compare/contrast emails, subject line. A/B testing, etc), custom templates (inability to add your own HTML/CSS templates), etc. are lacking. I'm hopeful they'll come up with more reporting and customization as they continue to grow.
