There was an issue with the tiered pricing showing when no rule was assigned. apparently if you "duplicate" a product in Shopify the metafields transfer over and the new duplicated product can unintentionally show tiered discount rates from the previously mapped metafields. Meaning a product will have discounted pricing that it shouldn't. The discount support worked quickly to fix the issue with the copied metafields and stopped the incorrect pricing from showing up.
