I have connected my Twilio account to send order confirmation and courier tracking messages to my customers, and everything is working perfectly. The setup was smooth, and the system runs reliably. The support team is very polite and genuinely helpful. They quickly assisted me whenever I had questions.
We are using Twilio SMS with Shopify through this app, and it works great. It provides order confirmation and shipment tracking notifications, keeping our customers updated throughout the delivery process. Highly recommended.
I don't use this app, and didn't have it installed. I literally had to install it in order to leave a review. All the sudden in the last month, I have received over $500 in charges from it ($279 charge today). It is impossible to contact support on their website without log in in however none of the emails I have are recognized by their website. I have searched every email account for "Twilio" and can't find a single email from them. Shopify has been no help. We don't use SMS for anything with our company or website. I need some help ASAP or we will have to file a chargeback with our bank.
Avoid at All Costs – Twilio is a Nightmare to Use (PLEASE READ, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED) If I could give Twilio zero stars, I would. This is, without a doubt, one of the most frustrating and poorly executed apps I have ever used on Shopify. First, the setup process is a convoluted mess. The documentation is vague, and crucial steps are buried under layers of unclear instructions. Instead of providing a seamless integration, Twilio forces users to wade through endless technical jargon and guesswork. If you’re expecting a plug-and-play solution, look elsewhere. Second, the software itself is unintuitive and riddled with unnecessary complexity. Instead of prioritizing usability, Twilio seems designed to frustrate. Simple tasks take far longer than they should, and nothing about the interface is user-friendly. Worst of all? Their customer support is abysmal. If you run into an issue (which you will), expect delayed, unhelpful, and scripted responses that don’t actually address your concerns. You’ll be stuck in a loop of automated replies, irrelevant knowledge base articles, and “support” reps who clearly don’t understand their own product. This app is an absolute disaster for Shopify merchants. If you value your time, your sanity, and your business, DO NOT install this app. There are far better alternatives that won’t leave you pulling your hair out.
