The ability to change the output with HTML or Liquid is excellent. No other e-commerce service offers this level of freedom. Invoices could be created in a specified format. Only one feature was reduced. That is that when you output a file as a PDF, it is output with the same file name. In the old 'order print' the order number was included in the file name, so there was no risk of overwriting the file. Thanks to the development team for a great programme. Please keep improving it. Horrible! All the other reviews are very accurate in that this new version is not even remotely better! If you have minimal to zero coding experience, your life with be completely difficult because there is no easy way to format a decent template. Shopify, please do better for all your shop owners. We spend a lot of time and money to curate things down to the smallest detail for our customers. Work with us, not against us! Show more
None of the shipping details print out on this new APP - don't know if it is regular, expedited, post, courier etc This needs to be FIXED Show more
I would NOT recommend this app. I have been forced to swap from the old order printer (legacy) to this new rubbish Shopify Order Printer. They gave instructions on how to migrate your old template over but I'm not familiar with coding so I can't do it. My invoice is missing things like gst, the shipping address, the discount amount, notes and other things. Very unhappy!!!!! Show more
This migration was fairly straightforward but you need to engage the same developer that wrote your original templates. Seems like the variables now need to be explicit, the types have been made consistent for things like addresses, and there is a better hierarchy now so you can drill down in a more logical way to the thing you want to include. If I was writing templates from scratch, I would prefer this over the old version. The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to make the borders as thick as the borders on the legacy version, but that is just my own shortcoming I think. Show more
