I love how this APP can make sales offers so streamline. I would like to hopefully see a change in the future for where the pop up windows can display - for example, if you want a customer to buy multiple units of an item to trigger the offer, it would be great to have this show up in the "Add To Cart" section so they are seeing it as they purchase instead of waiting until they "checkout". If it was me, I'd be a little confused about whether or not the deal was happening when I add items to the cart. The support team has been really over the top helpful on this one. My Bold rep, Dan, was especially helpful, patient, and kind through my process of setting up various offers. We even spoke on the phone to work through things. If you have no background in backend work building website apps I do not recommend their apps. They had to do some liquid install. After it completed I just happened to stumble upon realizing my store was no longer functioning! THEY DO NOT HAVE 24 HOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT. MY STORE CURRENTLY CANNOT PROCESS A SALE AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR A RETURN CALL EVEN AFTER CHOOSING THE EMERGENCY OPTION WHEN CALLING. MY COMPANY WILL BE DELETING ALL APPS ASSOCIATED WITH BOLD. WE CANNOT CALCULATE HOW MANY LOST SALES BUT WE'RE SURE IT IS QUITE A FEW. Show more

We just purchase Product Upsell and are in the process (actually this weekend) of implementing it on our site. Shop the Hound has been in business since 2011. It started with one product and I didn't even have a store, had never been in sales (I was always in Purchasing) and so I built my business from scratch. The store has gone through some growing pains in the past year as we moved platforms twice and are now loving Shopify. I realized recently the store really need to take advantage of the fact that we have a customer sitting at home wanting to purchase the product but often they don't realize that there are other items that would really compliment their purchase and why not take advantages of the economy of scale with regard to shipping. I'm excited to see what Product Upsell will do for Shop the Hound. I really think that it coupled with Product Discount that Shop the Hound is on the right path to an even more improved store.
