Don't bother with the default Shopify carrier calculated shipping! The netParcel app integrates with Shopify and gives your customers the ability to choose the most popular carriers (of your choosing) and their various delivery options. The key is that you save by getting high volume pricing for your small business instantly. You can add a % or fixed price premium to help you cover any differences between estimated and actual prices. After creating an account on netParcel, make sure to contact customer support for installation instructions and to have them activate the "rater" first before you install the app. Good luck! Very good app, reasonably user-friendly and gives lots of options in a format that largely makes sense (unlike many other shipping apps we've tried, like the Purolator one which is absolute rubbish). Would like to see a larger degree of automation for importing orders from Shopify though (ie an auto-synced order list), so that a full list of orders was visible and fulfilment status is easier to see without having to swap back and forth with a Shopify tab/window. Other than that, no problem recommending this. Show more
