Finally, it is possible to sell products by weight on Shopify! As a small farmer who sells direct to customers, being able to sell by weight is critical. Customers are used to buying meat by the pound, and it simplifies my inventory management. Setup is well documented, and once Catch Weight Order Fulfillment is up and running it's a breeze to use; simply enter the weight in the standard field, the price per pound at the bottom, and it does the rest. The custom fulfillment form has no lag, and works seamlessly within the standard Shopify fulfillment and label printing process. In the past I've had my online store on Grazecart and then Woocommerce, but Shopify with Catch Weight Order Fulfillment is superior to both. Its designs means that all the basic Shopify functionality remains intact, and Shopify, as a platform, has the most robust and intuitive feature set.
