3D Bits

We’re very happy with how 3D Bits helped us build our first 3D product configurator. The platform has exceeded our expectations. For the Strength Shop Power Racks configurator, we needed to handle complex assembly logic, various UI edge cases, and heavy 3D CAD models with multiple variants. The platform integrated well with the custom product page and the variant selector UI we created for the configurator. As customers click through options, the 3D assembly updates immediately, so what they see always stays in sync with the configuration. Even as configurations become more complex, performance has remained fast, with stable FPS. What we appreciate most is the platform’s flexibility. It integrates well with our Shopify setup, works with standard web technologies, and leaves plenty of room to customize the experience. We’ve also had a very positive experience with the Pro plan. Matas has been very helpful with hands-on support and practical guidance while we built and launched our first configurator. His team at Bit by Bit also supported us with high-quality 3D model preparation. Thanks to that work, our full rack assembly is only ~3 MB, which helps it load quickly and run smoothly even on mobile devices. Dieser 3D-Viewer ist ein Meisterwerk. Ich habe mir alle angebotenen Apps angeschaut und mich für BitByBit entschieden, weil ich die 3D-Modelle meiner Produkte damit so in meinem Shop erscheinen lassen kann, wie ich es möchte ohne dafür mit ausufernden Kosten leben zu müssen. Wer keine Ahnung von 3D-Viewern, Umgang mit Shopify, mit GLB-Dateien und deren Bearbeitung (z.B. mit Blender) hat, sollte sich das ganze Einrichten lassen. Wer etwas Basiswissen mitbringt und sich Zeit für die zur Verfügung gestellten Tutorials in Textform und als YouTube-Video nimmt, kriegt die Einrichtung auch selber hin. Wo ich nicht weiter kam, hat mir Matas, der brillante Entwickler dieses 3D-Viewers, umgehend weitergeholfen und alles so erklärt, dass auch etwas kompliziertere Dinge leicht zu verstehen waren. Nachdem alles eingerichtet ist, kann das Erscheinungsbild hochgeladener 3D-Modelle und eventueller Varianten problemlos so eingestellt werden, wie man es gerne haben möchte. Diese App gibt dem Anwender dazu zahlreiche Möglichkeiten an die Hand, um für eine sehr ansprechende Produktpräsentation in 3D zu sorgen. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden. Meiner Meinung nach ist dieser 3D-Viewer für jeden Shopbetreiber, sofern er 3D-Modelle seiner Produkte zur Verfügung hat, ein Game Changer.
