I looked into and tried several apps to enable search filers on the search page, and one that would allow me to maintain these filters/data on my changing product catalog easily. This app eventually won out and I've used it for at least 2 years now. No complaints and I am not going anywhere. Their prices are very reasonable and app was easy to set up and use. Their support team is responsive and their responses are always on point, compared to some support teams where you can wait for days and several escalations later, you are left with completely not-on-point responses to your issues. Only area I would note for improvement is the UI. Again, the cost is much lower than others and this is a great choice for small business websites with a small IT budget. Show more

Smart Search Bar & Filters by Searchanise is a fantastic search app. We use it for both the search box and the "Narrow your Search" functionality on the sidebar. The search box has many capabilities, including matching of text in your product titles and descriptions. We sell automotive fasteners and have tens of thousands of cross-reference numbers, year/make/model combinations, part attributes such as length, width, height, etc. and Searchanise accommodates all of it. Our customers easily find what they need by searching nearly anything related to the product. In addition, Searchanise accommodates synonyms of search terms, and you can add replacement words so that if somebody searches using an odd phrase or word you can have that redirect to the correct product. You can also run many different reports. We run the Zero Results report frequently which shows us what customers are searching for, and allows us to figure out how best to direct that search in the future. Finally, support is top-notch. This is a big team developing this product with a proper ticketing system, fast follow-up, complete answers to questions, proper escalation as needed, etc. Even for feature improvements you'll find they are very eager to hear your suggestions and often will roll out the changes quickly. This app is well worth the money, I don't think we could run our business without it. Show more

The app has so many bugs. Customer support has no idea how to fix issues which generic response. They charge a premium for an app that is not premium. The app has completely stopped working on my website and I have no idea why. They're say they are sorry in response to this review, a generic response rather than fixing important issues. Show more
