The app is easy to set up, intuitive and use friendly. We have been using it for several months now. The reason we switched from InstantPlus was the recommendation of our ShopifyPlus AM and for the few times we have interacted with Searchanise team, I have to say we have just good things and good service, 5 stars and Three cheers! Excellent value for a search app. My favorite functionality is its ability to display category pages as search pages with built-in filters/etc. Support has been both excellent and not so excellent, but on my latest issue they were rock stars! My main critique is to provide better matching for search terms without adding synonyms. For example, the app will find product "Focus XT" but not "Focus-XT." I've added a synonym to take care of it, but there should be an option to at least ignore special characters. Show more

I didn't even think about upgrading search. Little did I realize it's going to be the most important part of my shop. This app makes my shop professional and most importantly, it is going to help customers find what they need - quickly. I happen to be a picky designer, not wanting my shop to look like a collection of widgets, but rather a seamless design that suites my style. I sent an obnoxious list of design requests for very small changes to their team. Later in the day, it was all done! They've already put enough time into my shop to be worth years of subscriptions. I'm confident that if I ever get traffic, this app will help with sales - a lot. Not to mention, the search is phenomenal. I can type a misspelled part of a word, and it smartly searches descriptions and suggests the ideal results right away. You will no longer have to worry about customers knowing how to spell or even how to navigate your site. Some apps are glitchy, flash elements when loading, etc. Not this one.
