The app was easy to install and the customization was fairly straight forward. I got a little tripped up on synonyms but then I read their help screen on it and it was fine. But what takes them to 5 stars is their service - i reached out about a "how to" to help me customize the look/feel, and they actually took on the task and made the updates to our backend CSS. This may be the best app I have downloaded for my site. Usually our shopify store won't show results for items unless that EXACT term is searched. For instance... If an item is titled and described as "Luffa Gourd Seeds" ... you would need to either type "Luffa" or "Gourd" to find it. If "Loofah" or "Loofa" is typed in the product wouldn't come up. After installing this app, it easily searches products with similar spelling and it even gives recommendations and live results right in the dropdown. We are using the free version but may plan to start paying because we love it that much. Awesome app guys! I was also pleasantly surprised that you can add filters even! This was a game changer as well since I thought I'd have to install a whole other plugin, but this one seamlessly throws in filters by using tags and categories etc. It's really amazing and well thought out. OVERALL... PROS: Filters, Live Dropdown Recommendations such as pages, products, categories etc as the user types. Quick to setup, Super fast on the storefront end, Very customizable, FREE!!!! We are on the Enterprise plan, and it provides incredible value. We've increased our page load speeds incredibly by switching our collection view to Searchanise from the default Turbo theme. This resulted in increased conversions and very happy customers. The search engine is blazing fast, and highly customizable. The team responds almost instantly to all issues, and we've had them do quite a bit of customization work for us at no extra charge to make sure the app works perfectly with our site and business objectives. I can't recommend the app and team highly enough - it's such an integral part of our site, I couldn't imagine not having it. App and team are both A+ and deserving of our 5-star rating. Thank you!
