I recently had a disappointing experience with Bold Upsell, and I feel it’s important to share. Their pricing model charges you based on views instead of conversions. I was billed $59.99 per month, even though the app didn’t contribute a single upsell or any income to my store. What’s worse? The charges happen automatically without any control or authorization on your end! Despite having a busy store with initial sales, the app offered no tangible upsell results. I’ve uninstalled the app, disputed the charges with Shopify, and will also escalate the matter with my bank. Bold Upsell has proven to be a complete waste of money and time.
