LangShop AI Language Translate

I want to start this review by saying that this app is 100% worth trying just for the dedicated support and the importance that the langshop team gives to any customer who encounters problems. I had a rather complex problem and it was resolved within 2 days by the team. Whereas other apps would blame shopify or other excuses( it happened to me). PRO list with things that I like at this app and why I continue to use it: -The translation quality, the app is super user friendly, it's the only app whose interface is easy to understand and where I don't get lost in the settings, also they use the same translation AI as the other apps, the part I like about this app is that it has DeePL integrated in it, which is super good for stores selling in countries with different languages. One thing to point out and note by me is that for the translation to be as accurate as possible you need to get the punctuation right and the product names not to be spelled out in capital letters, otherwise the AI will consider them brand names, the app will translate any word and phrase if you follow the simple rule above, otherwise you run the risk of it not being so accurate but the problem would be with the original content, not the translation. -It has a great design and lets you customize the language switch button as you want, I tried it on other apps but this feature was quite limiting, which is a plus for Langahop. -The cost I consider relatively cheap, considering that with only 30 dollars it translates for free in 5 languages and you have no limit to which words or characters it translates. -Customer support and customer care is 10 stars, they really care about their customers, which surprised me as they always helped me with different questions and queries. Cons arguments to use this app I didn't find, many say it translates slow (I find it quite ok, they translated 250 products in 8-10 hours). I from previous experiences with other apps it has about the same speed, but accuracy of translation is more important than speed for me, that's why for me I can't consider it a con, but it depends on each one, it's a subjective thing as one is willing to wait. L'assistance semble ne rien avoir a y faire a vos questions. Je ne conseille pas, en plus de répondre a coté de la plaque, ils ne donne pas de code d'intégration a leur clients. Ils demandent un tas de questions privées, ce n'est pas profésionnel. Show more

*** UPDATE : They say that their customer service is available 24/7, but since I've left this review, they've removed any chat/support contact button from my account, as revenge. Considering the fact that you cannot do any change without the help of customer service, based on this non-user friendly app, I'm telling you, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS APP. Made one of the biggest wrong decision by choosing this app. Now most of my translations is stuck with this app, and if I were able to read the reviews before, I would have chosen differently. Been using this app for about 6 months. EVERY time we want to update anything, because the software is the opposite of user-friendly, we have to ask customer service, who respond 50% of the time, and when they do, they usually tell you that there's nothing they can do on their end, so you should just figure it out yourself. If you want to bulk edit more than 5 products, you need to use their import/export feature, which takes about 5-7 days to import, and 5-7 days to export. So hopefully you're in no rush, because it will take a decade to get your bulk changes in place. Every time you change something on the main version of the website, you'll have to go directly into your website code, to figure out where it's precisely located in the code of your theme, to then locate it in their app. There's no way to just type a word and they will tell you where the translation is - almost need a degree in computer science to get this working. I've received threat of removing the app if I left a bad review, which I'm doing anyway, since I'm fed up with everything. Also why you won't see a lot of negative reviews - they will remove any of your content if you leave a negative review of their app. Do yourself a favor, and don't choose this app, there's a million other one, and I wish someone would have told me this before I choose this one.
