Searchanise Search & Filter

I really love the power of this app for search. It is very fast and can be seamlessly customized to the look and feel of your store. There are many functions that I like: instant search, search suggestions, upsell/cross sell, merchandising suggestions etc and you can use your search data to direct zero result searches to products/pages you think the customer was intending. I received very good service, although had to wait a few days for a reply, but the help was excellent and accurate. Most importantly, it makes it easy for customers to find what they want. Update Mar2023: It’s now been 2 years using this app and I continue to appreciate the solid support. In the last year I have updated my theme and most recently installed filters on collections which required some coding additions which was actually very straight forward and quick, with the help of Stacy. This app would be the most important app we have. Update Sep2023: The level of support and response times has improved a lot. I've been able to get considerable CSS support on tweaks I needed and good explanations of what was being done. The support in the Asian time zone is now very good. Show more

Searchanise has been a big improvement to our website. The options are pretty flexible. Our SEO on collections has improved and the pages load very fast. Whenever we need help fixing CSS or other issues, they are quick and responsive. Their support team is incredible and helped us implement a design that matched the rest of our website. Update Sept 6: They have now offered to help me with video support when I initially asked several times and was always denied. It took a very negative review for them to offer a normal level of support. I will look for another app that is easier to setup. __________ I think their search and filters would work well if I could set them up correctly. I spent months of emailing back and forth with support over things that should have been easy and even some technical bugs that they don't seem to understand and cannot fix. I begged them to get on a video call to help me finish the setup, but they claimed they could not provide that kind of support. If that's the case, then they should make setup easy. It was such a nightmare. I have built entire websites on Shopify before and nothing has been as difficult as setting up this app. I am so frustrated. Finally, I've given up and will uninstall the app now. Just beware. My developer was even having trouble. I do not recommend this app. I am off to find another. Show more
