This app provides all the necessary cookie consent functionality to comply with international privacy laws, particularly in the European Union. I was truly amazed after installing it, as it even maintains a log of consent given. You have the flexibility to customize various aspects according to your preferences, such as text and buttons. As someone who enjoys tinkering with CSS, I found it easy to make adjustments. In case you encounter any issues, there's Zeus, a real person who is incredibly helpful and available for assistance. Furthermore, I forgot to mention that this app is available for FREE right from the start. Consentmo doesn't restrict main functionality on the free plan, unlike other apps. When looking for a cookie compliance solution, we were recommended Consentmo. Several months after implementing Consentmo, we noticed significantly skewed reporting in every one of our analytics dashboards. Being detrimental to accurate reporting across the business, especially conversion rate, we expended large amounts of resources to identify the cause. After weeks of testing and trying to isolate the problem, we identified Consentmo to be the issue. When a user denied cookies through the Consentmo cookie banner, every page visit would be logged as three sessions. This is an extremely urgent matter that we raised to Consentmo support. The team has yet to respond to our ticket in any meaningful way and it has been several days since a reply. This app is an integral part of compliance. We are very disappointed with how support has responded to our team raising a significant issue with the app. Show more

Have only been using the free plan so far, but that has given me everything I need to be GDPR compliant. The cookie banner is very customisable, so it's easy to stay on brand with colours etc and at the same time avoid destroying the customer experience. Once setup there is an option to speak with tech support to have them check for compliance. I spoke with Georgi who was incredibly helpful in helping me check my store. He also went above and beyond in spotting a few other things I needed to change in my Shopify settings for faster page load times. This included sending me step by step video instructions that were super easy to follow an implement. Really impressed by the app functionality and especially the first class customer support.
