DOOFINDER ‑ Search & Discovery

This is app is amazing and so was the level support of I received from my rep JP at Doofinder in getting this all set up on our store. Before Doofinder, the search functionality on our website was very limited; if anything was typed incorrectly, the visitor would get our Oooops! Page. Not helpful! Now, as soon as the visitor starts typing, an array of options appears as if by magic. Plus, there are metrics as well as other features to improve the customer experience and get them to our products faster. Show more

This companies pricing structure is absurd. It's not based on "searches" it's based on api requests which turns out is each item it pulls up in the search. Got 15 bacon t-shirts? Well, that's 15 requests for 1 search. To make things even worse their search app by default split up all of our products into variants and then showed each variation (color and size) to the customer instead of just the main product itself, so we had 6,000+ requests the first day after 133 customer searches which oddly enough didn't result in a single sale (15 bacon shirts, 6 sizes, 6 colors = 540 requests per customer search. Trial is for 1,000 requests). It's almost like they intentionally want to milk the customer for every single request possible BY DEFAULT! Just based on that one day of use, we would have to pay $400 a month just to keep this app running. Show more

Uno de los problemas principales que tenía eran las búsquedas mal indexadas y el poco control que teníamos sobre estas con el buscador nativo de shopify o del tema. Really great app. Once you have installed Doofinder, you cannot doo without it. It had always worried me how many customers we lost, due to spelling errors, or not knowing the exact description, or not being able to find products by navigating our categories, but now none of this matters. I have seen sales that would not have happened before, i cannot rate Doofinder high enough. Shaun made the initial setup so easy, and phoned me 3 times during my trial period to check how it was going. Great customer service. Show more
